PGCD Scholarship 

 

Since 2002, PGCD has awarded over $200,000 of scholarship money to deserving High School Seniors in our District (Armstrong, Carson, Donley, Gray, Potter, Roberts, Wheeler Counties). 

2024-2025 Scholarship Application.

  • Applications can either be submitted by mail or by email to PGCD at info@pgcd.us

Please note that once you complete and save this application, you still must email it. Saving the application does not automatically email it.

General Requirements:

  • Must reside within the counties listed above.
  • Must enroll in college for the Fall Semester directly following selection.
  • Must maintain a 2.5 GPA to continue receiving scholarship funds.

How to Apply:

  • Fill out the application electronically or by hand and email it back to PGCD.
  •   2024-2025 Scholarship Application
  • Applications will be accepted from November 20, 2024, to March 14, 2025.
  • Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

 

2024-2025 Scholarship Essay Topic:

Water is an important part of our daily lives, and it is becoming a limited resource in many areas, including the Texas Panhandle. What conservation strategies should county governments, municipalities, and water districts implement to be the most effective in our area? 

  

Please note that PGCD will no longer use the Amarillo Area Foundation's website to filter our applications. Please help us pass the information along to all eligible High School Seniors.

The Panhandle Groundwater Conservation District will strive to develop, promote and implement water conservation, augmentation and management strategies to protect water resources for the benefit of the citizens, economy, and environment of the District.
