Flow Testing

Flow tests are provided as a service to the residents of the District.

A polysonic machine or turbine meter is used to measure the amount of gallons per minute a well is producing.

We need the following information to perform a flow test:

1.  Size of pump (outer diameter at discharge pipe)

2.  A minimum of 30″ of free flow distance (cannot perform test over cooling coils or around check valves due to turbulent water).

For information about having a flow test conducted, contact the District office at info@pgcd.us or call (806)883-2501.

The Panhandle Groundwater Conservation District will strive to develop, promote and implement water conservation, augmentation and management strategies to protect water resources for the benefit of the citizens, economy, and environment of the District.
