2018 Water Conservation Symposium

4th Biennial Texas Panhandle Water Conservation Symposium is scheduled for February 28, 2018.

Bridging the Gap: Balancing Today’s Water Needs & Conserving for our Future

PGCD’s mission statement is to develop, promote and implement water conservation, augmentation and management strategies to protect water resources for the benefit of the citizens, economy and environment of the District. 2018 marks our 4th biennial water conservation symposium. Our previous symposiums were considered a huge success for the Panhandle region. Not only were there over 300 people in attendance, but we were able to strive towards our mission statement by educating our communities on many areas of water use and conservation.

This year we are partnering with the City of Amarillo and covering a variety of water-related topics affecting the municipal, agriculture and public sectors. The day’s agenda will be similar to the 2016 agenda in terms of scheduling; we will have a full day of innovative water conservation strategies and will bridge the gap between all water users.
